Florists and flower businesses are close neighbors of garden centers, and many nurseries run a florist counter of their own. Retail florists build arrangements to order and deliver locally, floral designers work by appointment for weddings and events, flower markets and wholesalers sell loose stems and bunches, and flower farms grow seasonal blooms such as dahlias, peonies, tulips and sunflowers, sold by the bucket, by subscription or as pick-your-own. Ordering from the shop directly usually means more flowers for the money than going through a national website.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 9 am–5 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. We had to order flowers for a funeral and Brenda couldn't have been more helpful. We asked for substitute flowers and gave her freedom to be creative. The wreath she came up with was astonishing. It was so beautiful. We cannot thank you enough!

My friend sent me this gorgeous arrangement and festive balloon as a congratulations on starting a new job. This is so beautiful and smells amazing! O’Brien‘s called to confirm I was going to be home, and the delivery guy was really enthusiastic and congratulated me on “whatever this was for”- which was so nice and funny. They helped make an exciting time even more special! Highly recommend!
